The season was pretty good, I was a little lost at points but nonetheless it was a great season to start. Shockingly I didn't really like a lot of the characters, some weren't given that much camera time and some I just found a little annoying or weird.
- Glenn Rhee - Fell in love with him the minute Rick got that walky talky in his hand. He's such a comedic character and easily my top 5 so far. Greatest character out of the group right now.
- Morgan Jones - Another one of my favorites, I hate how he's only gotten one episode. He was a better character in one than most were in six episodes. Praying for a return out of him somewhere down the line, just a overall great father. The little arc he had with his wife being a walker made me love him even more, definitely one of the few characters I have some emotional attachment to already. Which is crazy to say.
- Jacqui - So upset she stayed in the CDC, I was hoping she was going to be the one female character who'd be a strong character. She had the spunk, sass and everything. Definitely another one that's in my top five.
- Andrea Harrison - She's pretty alright to me, I can definitely see her turning into a stronger character in the future. Don't really love or hate her just yet but I can see the potential in her. Her sister passing really gave her some character development and I'm hoping she'll capitalize on that. Definitely one of my favorites out of the cast as of now.
- Rick Grimes - I'm not too big on him, he was pretty decent to me. If he weren't the main character he wouldn't have stood out to me like others. Don't have too much to say about him now but he just comes off as a heroic human being which is always great.
- Amy Harrison - She's decent, I didn't really care for her all that much. A sweet character but I saw her death coming, she easily came off as the girl who freezes up somehow and gets herself killed but her death definitely took me by surprise. Hopefully it fuels her sister to become a stronger character
- T-Dog - I would've actually liked this man had he fought back against Merle and didn't let himself get beat up. Also would've liked him if he didn't volunteer to save Merle. However he does seem like another comedic relief, would've loved if he got a little more camera time. Hope he gets more of that in the next season.
- Lori Grimes - Dislike her also. Same goes for her, dead or not I despise people who hook up with any close friend to their loved ones. It's just weird and disrespectful especially with her son there. I can see her making for some compelling storylines in the future but as of now she's irritating.
- Carol Peletier - Don't really care for her at all to be honest, not much I can say. Her abusive arc with Ed made me feel some sympathy for her though. Hoping she can grow past that.
- Dale Horvath - Don't really care for him at all to be honest, not much I can say. I wish he fought for Jacqui to leave the CDC as much as he fought for Andrea.
- Shane Walsh - I really dislike this man, I despise people who hook up with their bestfriends, or relatives loved one. Dead or not, it was wrong of him and left a sour taste in my mouth. Originally liked him but once I found out Lori was Rick's wife that made him dead to me. Also found it really weird how he tried to throw himself onto Lori in the finale while Rick is in the building.
- Daryl Dixon - Another character that I don't have any emotion towards, as of now he just comes off as aggressive and nothing more really. He does show he's somewhat caring when Glenn yells at him to not burn the bodies after the camp attack but that's pretty much it.
- Merle Dixon - Hated this man. Minute he called T-Dog the N word he killed all his potential momentum for me. Which he stayed chained up and gotten eaten by walkers but it'll be interesting to see where he is next season.
- Ed Peletier - Trash, well-deserved death.
In conclusion the season was pretty great, definitely had a lot of controversial moments that really shocked but but I guess i'll have to brace myself for more of those. Continuing onto season two tomorrow!
