In Episode 6, Greyworm wants to execute Lannister soldiers, so they clearly have a no prisoner policy, but not when he captures Jon, the man who killed his queen ,and Tyrion, who conspired to kill his queen. I guess it's their way now to coolly keep prisoners alive, and assemble the worst great council imaginable.
Greyworm wants justice, and you can't make this shit up, he decides the best way to get it is to make a council of:
-The murderer's sister Arya
-The murderer's brother Bran
-The murderer's other sister Sansa
-The murderer's best friend Sam
-The murderer's sister's sworn sword Brienne
-The murderer's Hand Davos
-The murderer's sister's boyfriend Gendry
-The murderer's sister cousin Robin
-The murderer's sister's right hand man Royce
-The murderer's sister's uncle Edmure
-And a bunch of random fucks
This is who should be on the great council:
- Yara Greyjoy
- The prince of Dorne
- No one fucking else
The only reason Greyworm should've called all these people together is to redwedding them all.
Anyway, somehow Tyrion has the gall to say it's not Greyworm's decision to enact justice but that of a king. But the thing is, Greyworm IS effectively king, he has all the power, he's the head of the Unsullied and the Dothraki, I don't understand why he hasn't already slit Jon and Tyrion's throats and everybody sitting here.
I guess one could argue that killing Jon would bring on war with the 15 people left in the northern army, but honestly who gives a fuck about killing Tyrion... Podrick Payne? Who else, no one alive gives a shit about Tyrion Lannister
Tyrion then says that stories unite us and suggests Bran should be king, even though Bran has the most boring story, so boring in fact he didn't even appear in Season 5. He is NO ONE's favorite character. And why would Bran's story which is essentially him being dragged to a tree, giving brain damage to a stable boy then being dragged back, inspire the prince of Dorne to unify with the Vale for example
Then as if this couldn't get anymore ridiculous, Sansa declares herself independent. Wasn't the whole point of this shit unity? Now Bran isn't even a subject of the kingdom he was elected to rule, while the ironborn who fought 2 wars for independence, their whole deal with Daenerys was for independence, yet unlike Sansa, Yara doesn't ask for her independence.
Bran chooses Tyrion to be his Hand, even though Tyrion was a terrible Hand by his own admission, provided almost 0 pieces of a good advice to his last monarch, and has a long list of betrayals and dead bodies, including his father his lover his best friend and his queen.
And Greyworm, the man who holds all the cards, the man who clearly wants to kill this imp who successfully conspired to kill his queen, just takes it.
Oh and Jon is sentenced to join the night's watch, which still exists for some reason
This season cost 90 million dollars to make yet it looks like it was written by a toddler
