Do people still miss the era around 2011 and 2013 where The Walking Dead was a massive big hit that's also placed next to the Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad?

I'm not complaining that The Walking Dead was no longer popular than it was before based on lower ratings and viewership. I'm just having a nostalgic moment where everyone on social media was talking about it and memes related to that show were dominating all the forums. It was also very common for people to bring up scenes from the Walking Dead first and foremose when people start talking about anything related to pop culture the same way people bring up certain scenes from the Breaking Bad or scenes from GOT (before it got ruined by the final season). I wish I got into it early ,but I was having doubt because it was just another zombie series which I find boring ,but it's one of my favorite shows of all time now. Do you feel the same way?

The lack of interests is atleast understandable in my opinion. The way they killed off many of the important main characters is something that pissed people off about the GOT ,but TWD multiplied it to 1000x. Of course it will result in lower ratings and viewership compared to before. Do you also think the final season of TWD will gurantee that the show will be remembered the same way people remembered Breaking Bad?
