[NO SPOILERS] if im not feeling the show by season _ or season _ episode __ then i wont care much for the rest? what numbers would you say fit in the blanks?

hello o/ fairly new to the show i started it some time ago but after the first season being so overwhelming with character and location introductions i kind of fell off it. few months later and im starting back up on season 2(i recapped season 1 on youtube). im still trying to keep up with some of the location and character names, and while its not as bad as it was i dont feel im quite there. i started this show mainly due to the supernaturalish side to it so im kind of looking forward to that and dragons the most. so with that in mind where would you say the defining point for me would be?
