I wonder what could have happened in this What If scenario? During the tourney at Harrenhal, instead of Lyanna Stark, What If...Rhaegar Targaryen crowned his wife, Elia Martell, the gueen of love and beauty? How would things have gone following that? With no Robert's Rebellion, what would have happened to the Seven Kingdoms? What would have happened to Aerys? Would Rhaegar or someone else conspire to have him removed and Rhaegar put on the throne as Rhaegar Targaryen, First of his name? Would Robert and Lyanna still have married? Would Ned Stark with someone like Ashara Dayne? What would Viserys and, depending on the time of when she would have been born, Danaerys have been like?
