I'm starting my first rewatch, and I've noticed that a ton of people see Arya and think she's a boy. I understand why they would be confused later on when she masquerades as a boy, but in Season 1 she still has long hair and people still get confused. The first time I saw Arya, I knew she was a girl. I haven't read A Song of Ice and Fire, so was Arya portrayed as physically more boyish, and this is meant to be a direct interpretation from the book? If so, this seems like a stupid inclusion in the show that is relatively unnecessary. If they felt these lines were so necessary, was Maisie a good casting choice? (which feels weird for me to say, because she's so talented and was able to hold her own with her adult castmates at such a young age)
