Cersei’s first born. Did she kill him?

Ok so I’m rewatching for the 100th time and I had a thought. S1E1 is about how Jon Arryn died of a “fever” which we know was actually poisoning by lannisters. S1E2 Cersei tells Catlyn her first born with black hair died of fever. Is it possible she poisoned him in the same way knowing it was actually Roberts baby and she wanted her and Jaime’s son to be the next ruler? Also, I’m not a book reader, so I don’t know if this is mentioned anywhere in the book. What do you think?
