In A Feast For Crows Samwell Tarly talks about "I found one account of the Long Night that spoke of the last hero slaying Others with a blade of dragonsteel."
How is Dragonsteel/Valyrian steel present during the Long Night, in Westoros, before the rise of the Valyrian Freehold and before Valyria's dragons?
Could it also be possible that Lightbringer is the same kind of steel as Valyrian steel (but technically not forged in Valyria)?
