I was wondering, how much self determination do you think the White Walkers have?
In the show, we see the Children of the Forest create the first White Walker. I believe it was to fight for them in their war against the humans, if I'm remembering correctly. We also know that at some point the Children of the Forest lost control of the Walkers.
So I'm now wondering, are the White Walkers
- a) A bit like robots who have gone wrong, in that they are mindlessly following their 'programming' which is to kill all humans, without having an established goal in mind other then that.
- b) More self determining then that, and have decided to attack the humans with a specific goal or goals in mind, in-spite of the fact they were created to kill humans.
- c) Something else all together.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
