Have you ever been completely annoyed by a main character of a show, but continuing watching it because of the supporting cast?

i have been watching The Blacklist on Netflix while at work for background noise. But man, do I find the main character, Elizabeth Keen, annoying as hell. Probably the worst FBI agent portrayed, a horrible profiler, and just an overall useless character. I have no emotional investment in her development or well being.

BUT, James Spader is incredible as usual. His portrayal of Reddington is the only reason I keep watching this show. I enjoy his dry quick humor, and the running schtick of him knowing everybody's name. If it wasnt' for him, I honestly would have given up on the show a while back.
