Saul was a sidecharacter in that show, he wasn't important to the plot, so why would they have shown us anyting about his personal life? For all we know, Chuck and Kim could still be part of his life in BB.
He also lies all the time, so anything he said in BB about his past life is meaningless.
In conclusion: all we know is that he has to rename himself, and become a bit more criminal than he already is at the end of the show. That's it.
