Earlier I started a discussion about how Kim might teach Jimmy how to be Saul, and after this season I'm even more sure she'll be a big part of Saul's operation.
Remember when Jimmy and Kim were watching that movie in S2E02? The movie's called "Ice Station Zebra". Now let's take a look at S3E11 of Breaking Bad: Saul gives Skyler a cheque with the name "Ice Station Zebra associates". They also used this company name in Saul's commercials. I think Kim is laundering the money for Saul's clients. She chose the company name because she loves movies.
It makes perfect sense too. We'd never think the Kim of season 1 would be involved in any shape or form. In season 2, she started to "break bad" with Jimmy by ripping off Ken (the douchebag). In season 3, she helps Jimmy even though she knows he broke the law. And then we have this brilliant scene as well. I think it's almost obvious where the show's headed.
I'm not sure if more people picked this up but I see a lot of posts assuming Kim will be gone (or worse, dead) during Breaking Bad. I think that would be tragic and unrewarding for the viewers, since they took so much time building these characters in Better Call Saul. If we move into the BrBa timeline I think we'll see her side of the Saul business as well.
