My theory about Chuck's aversion to Jimmy's success: Chuck's condition set in only after he got Jimmy out of the Chicago Sunroof charges (Chuck put his biggie cell phone in the bin with his keys at the jail, much the same way Jimmy had to do at Chuck's house).
Is it that Chuck's electromagnetic sensitivity is really an aversion to Jimmy's power? And once Chuck began to help Jimmy (at their mother's behest) he hated that Jimmy was well liked and impressing people at the firm by being "Charlie Hustle." So he fabricated this electromagnetic sensitivity to busy Jimmy to repay the debt Jimmy owed to Chuck for the help with the Chicago Sunroof.
I think it's the ultimate statement that Chuck's rule for Jimmy is that before Jimmy enters Chuck's home, he has to "ground himself."
Does it make sense to anyone else that Chuck hated to seem Jimmy flying high, and created this illness to undermine his success and monopolize Jimmy's time, to stop him from succeeding and to "ground" him?
