So the cartel boss didn't kill Gus because he "knew who he was in Chile" or something like that. I was wondering, what exactly was stopping him from killing Gus back then? Did they fear a retaliation from someone in Chile? Were they afraid of Madrigal? I'm curious because Walt didn't deal with any retaliation for killing him, but the cartel didn't for some reason. Anyone have an explanation?
