[EVERYTHING] S7E7 Commentary: David Benioff confirms something about what this character was feeling during this scene

When Jon arrives at Dany's cabin on the ship and Tyrion witnesses it, Benioff pretty much states that this was meant to be a sad moment for Tyrion. "Oh, somebody is going to be sad watching this." Not that he was angry, or implied any hints that he could be up to something not good.

Along with that, Kit Harington even says the word 'worried' in the background of the commentary, which connects back to Jeremy Podeswa's (the director of the episode) elaboration where he stated that Tyrion is concerned about their safety (Dany's especially) and whether or not their romance will be dangerous for them and everyone involved; similar to what Peter Dinklage also said in a separate commentary on Youtube.

At the end of the topic, Benioff ends with 'aww, Pete-y' Lmfao.

I have to say, when I was first watching that scene I also felt sad for Tyrion. When he was finally given a purpose again, he became very close with Daenerys but due to his mistakes and some disagreements they've had she starts to look up to Jon more and it's leaving Tyrion unsure of himself and Jon might become more important to her than he is. So while I do think he's jealous in a way, it has nothing to do with romance. Because he was fine with and already acknowledged the fact that Jon and Dany were falling in love, but that was all before he later saw that they're willing to die for each other and now it starting to look like they won't listen to anyone else except each other (an example is when Dany right away favored Jon's approach in arriving at Winterfell over Jorah's, where he wanted her to be a little more cautious and safe since she's stepping into dangerous territory in the North).

The way people are speculating about Tyrion's reaction I find it very similar to Sansa's at the end of the Season 6 finale where some jumped to conclusions and were drumming up drama without thinking through everything logically. Also it might even be something that won't even be that big of a focus, compared to everything else. We still have to wait and see how Jon reacts to his true parentage and how it will affect his relationship with Dany. D&D have already teased conflict, but similar to this I don't think it will be that big of an issue with only 6 episodes left and the season focusing mainly on the Great War.
