I just finished the mini-series and I'm having trouble describing how awesome it was for me to other people. For how good this was I'm surprised I didn't hear more about this, and I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it. First off I love the fact that it's a western, other than Westworld, which is a sci-fi western, I can't remember the last time this genre got anything good in either movies or television (True Grit maybe?). This series has it all, great acting (Jeff Daniels gives one of his best performances IMO), a awesome story, and just beautiful cinematography. As far as mini-series go I'd put it right up there with Band of Brothers. I can't recommend this show enough or to enough people so I guess I felt like coming on here and saying something. Feel free to argue with me or elaborate for me in the comments.
