TWD What would you have done?

So I posted a pretty serious post about the season finali of season 8 today. But now I want to have a bit of fun. I want to ask everyone who didn't like something that happened at some point in the show what they would have done differently if they had written it.

If you read my other post you'll know what I'm going to say. I'd change Carl's fate. Here's how:

When Carl broke into the Sanctuary instead of Negan taking him back to Alexandria I would have had Negan keep him and begin grooming him into a mini Negan. So instead of Rick deciding to fight Negan because he killed Spencer and Olivia. I would have him pissed because Negan had Carl. In the mean time, while Rick is preparing for war, I'd start throwing doubt over whether Negan's grooming is working or not. I'd make people wonder if Carl was really going to the dark side. I'd give him a chance to escape but make him choose to stay (I know they did that with Eugene) I'd have Daryl choose to stay too to watch Carl, since Daryl wouldn't leave him. And in the end I'd have Carl and Daryl ralley all the Saviours who hate Negan, because it's always bugged me that so many of his own people hate him but do nothing. And I'd have them take the Sanctuary on the inside while Rick is fighting from the outside. And of course I'd have Carl kill Negan but not before Negan shows how betrayed he feels but also how impressed he is with his little protege. Then when it's over and the Saviours are beaten, I'd have Carl get a little power hungry and declare himself the new leader of the Saviours and kick Rick out of the Sanctuary. Because Rick would obviously think Carl would want to go back with him. So to hell with dead humanitarian Carl, bring on scary dark Saviour Carl (who obviously doesn't terrorise people like Negan does, that would be too much). This obviously wouldn't have worked in the comics with how young Carl is but in the series I'd buy it =) Feel free to tell me my writing sucks and to post your own scenarios =)
