So this zombie world is free from supernatural zombies. In order to kill a zombie the brain must be damaged or destroyed. We see the rest of the zombies falling apart after 3 years or so, but what keeps them going? It seems to me like the brain would decompose and they would just start dropping "dead". I know we must suspend disbelief, but I'm curious if theres an explanation, or is it just like the gasoline in the cars still magically working 2 years after it should have gone bad?
