Besides the Prison, I always felt that Walking Dead was at its best when the characters are on the road and not stationary.
They should make a show where the main character or characters have to get a kid to the other side of the country back to his/her family. Say start in like Oregon and they have to get to Boston. They could take inspiration from Clementine/Lee story. It would be kind of like Logan where the little kid believes in this oasis on he other side of the country where her family is. This new show could then crossover with the other two shows while the main characters of this show are on their journey.
