So the watching the recent comic con panel has gotten me feeling nostalgic and I decided to go through and rewatch the comic con panels from the older seasons and honestly I think it’s the perfect way of illustrating just how far the show has fallen. There just seemed to be such a different energy in the air during all the comic con panels for seasons 1-7 back when most people were still generally satisfied with the quality of the show and excited for what was to come. IMO you can see/hear it not only in how the actors behave but also just in how the fans cheer and the questions they ask then vs now.
Also side-note, was I the only person very disappointed that the rest of the cast wasn’t invited to the panel this year? I would have loved to have seen Christian Serratos and Josh McDermitt in particular as to me they feel like just as much of an integral part of the family to me as Andy, Norman, and the others, not to mention that with so few originals left and more headed out the door you’d think they would want to start shifting the focus the newer characters rather than keeping it glued on the core five. But hey that’s just me.
