Been thinking a lot about this show and what it’s accomplished so far. A huge fan of breaking bad and this show COULD prematurely say this shows legacy falls in line with Breaking Bad. The argument about which one is better is oblivious. The fact that argument can even be made is amazing. I didn’t know what to expect of Better Call Saul, but I didn’t think it would be at this level of storytelling. Really have to hand it to Vince. I remember Vince talking on the insider podcast about how certain people would have or will see Better Call Saul before breaking bad. So better call Saul has to stand on its own 2 feet so a new comer can watch the show and not be confused as all shit.
What I’ve been leading to as we know Vince knows how to tell a story. With the mindset that he wants to stitch these two series together, seamlessly, he would have to introduce Walt and Jesse into Better Call Saul with about, give or take, the same amount of screen time and influence that Saul had in breaking bad. So my humble position coming in to the Better Call Saul season premiere is that we are going to get a lot more Walt and Jesse than the show is leading on. And I think it’s going to be awesome. If I am wrong I think it will still be awesome. I trust the show runners and I just cannot wait for this ride. This is the golden age people!
