A "junk food" the show is a program that has no real artistic value, but you love watching anyways. It's a show you can put on when you want to shut your brain off or you tend to other matters.

Judge Judy: It's trash television and it knows it, but watching Judge Judy berate irresponsible idiots is incredibly entertaining. There are probably a million episodes and new ones are constantly added to YouTube. This show is my go to for zoning out.

To Catch a Predator: Masquerading as a news program, TCaP is great junk food tv. Watching idiots get what's coming to them is great. Only issue is that there are so few episodes.
