That random helicopter in Atlanta was never explained, and I don't think it was the National Guard one that crashed in S3. This was never explored which I found odd. Do you think this could be the same group ?
Of course S1 was only a few weeks after the outbreak started so it's possible that chopper over Atlanta was just a way of the writers saying it there were still remnants of the authorities trying to maintain control in those early days .
