I hate to admit it but I'm glad Rick is gone

I can't pinpoint exactly why... But I feel like it's just overall healthy for the show. I loved Rick, but Walking Dead just has so many characters that it felt wrong for the show to always come back and connect to Rick for everything. For example, I've always been fascinated by Carol and Jadis, two of my favorite characters, but then Rick was always there as the star of the show to take all the attention

I've seen people saying Rick was "bigger than life". But I think it's more accurate to say that he was just "bigger than everyone else". For a show that tries to make a huge society of characters, it just wasn't working for me
