Season 3 was ~~great~~ because of troy and was looking up and good because the kids were going off on their own without their mom but...

but then Alicia came back somehow to the dam and Maddison killed troy and made Nick not afraid of death to die and go suicidal basically.

and I want to say I hate Maddison but I also love Maddison. but not really. but I see who she is. and I feel that Maddison does make bad decisions based on what she feels is best for her kids. and that was always apparent in her character.

She is not perfect, but I wanted her to be, but I also like, that she wasn't, even though I hate that she wasn't, I wanted to understand why she wasn't, like what was wrong with her? ----

(so I was like kind of glad that she bought up a disturbing backstory from her past. they were really addressing things in season 3 which made season 3 great. more on that later.)

---- How is she going to change to be better? At times when I feel like she not going to change. it be like "got damn Maddison your going to fuck everything up" and she did as expected so when nick went all crazy and stuff I was like fuck yes. because that kind of answer my prayers in a way to say but in a big way. and when Maddison killed troy I was like at a loss for words like seriously. It was really shocking.

Also about Nick he did go off on his own too with troy. but only reason he went back to his mommy aka Maddison was to warn her that these people were planning on attacking well taking over the dam.

btw troy is the one that figure all that out and told nick. and a little more about troy. if you recall the backstory of troy he was a crybaby and he stood beside his mother deathbed and took care of her as she was dying and his mother would keep saying she hate him and never really said she loves him. and Maddison knows that.

and the fact that troy asked that "is everything okay between us" and Maddison was like yeah but then killed him. then you start thinking about like about things but couldn't really think cause it was shocking and then the camera went to nick and I started thinking about nick and not troy and maddision and like why but you know.....

"And Nick and Everybody told Maddison that we should just go and leave the damn. " (going to requote this statement later)

and when season 3 ended I was wondering where could they possibly go now? and I thought they were lost and had to find eachother.

and with that notion of thought. I can see what they ultimately wanted for the Clarke family. and that was for Maddison to become a leader of a settlement. and for Maddison to provide that place that home for her kids, Nick and Alicia. that is something Maddison always wanted in all seasons and was concern about always.

so season 4 did justice to that but if you know movies and stories. they usually end once the main characters get what they want. so they somewhat had to tell the morgan story.

but they only had to, because they magically gave Maddison what she wanted. like what would have ultimately unfolded. but that was a dream that Maddison had for her kids. dreams don't neccearly come real because there dreams.

but they did justice to Maddison and was true to Maddison character wishes.

but they did injustice to and also in season 3 with what the other characters have had develop to become. like Alicia went off on her own. after the farm settlement was destroyed and she kinda went through a bad experience that time. and she really needed to be alone. because she believed that settlements will never be SAFE.

and ironically the bad guys in season 4 was giving that warning to Maddison and it was constant like restated message. and that annoyed me. because that was word by word and everything that Alicia character had believed in after the farm settlement got destroyed.

but back to Maddison and her dream. going to requote some things from earlier.

" I feel that Maddison does make bad decisions based on what she feels is best for her kids. and that was always apparent in her character."

"And Nick and Everybody told Maddison that we should just go and leave the dam. "

first the Fuck Up began in season 3 when Troy got killed and trigger events. that was epic and stuff yes. that was epic nothing more or less. and I believe people are saying season 3 is great because of troy or great in comparison to other seasons such as to season 4.

what actually make things great is the qualities, the ingredients the elements and what like the writers are doing. just like the overall build blocks that make up something that is great.

we can easily relate this epic event that nick did with the epic event so to speak that Nick and alcia step Dad has done. when he went rage mode. I was like seriously what the fuck in my head. and I smell bullshit and other things. they killed his son in a dumb way. they should have just let him alone and reintroduce him later like if alcia went on her own after that farm settlement thing and saw him again and he like different now would of been cool.

but that was not the storyline in mind.

but where i'm getting at is ehh its a lot to convey and explain. but each settlement they had this same fuck up. so maybe the fuck up didn't begin in season 3.

but let me quickly get this out the way.

Maddison is clearly stubborn and clearly not perfect and clearly flawed.in the sense that her chasing after this Dream of wanting to make a home for her kids clouded her judgement. I never ever rooted for Maddison. When she lock that woman up and set that place on fire!? she thought she was doing what she needed but she doesn't ever see how that Fuck everything up.

and the Clarke family always fuck every good thing they had to me. and Maddison was mostly the blame. and in season 3 I believe the writers kind of notice it as well and they started addressing that. and showing why and stuff and how Maddison in her arrogance takes a toll on Nick mainly but Alicia also.

when that happen nick actually got upset and stayed at that settlement and went off on his own. also more on nick when Nick shot and killed try father he did it so that Maddison wouldn't.

I really like that nick did that, he was betrayed once by his mom and betrayed again when she killed troyed. but nick is loyal and sucks it up. because yeah maybe his mom was right. he debated on killing troy. and he debated on killing troy father.

and nick was friends with troy father,i don't think Nick had any hard feelings towards troy father. what if nick was like if someone going to kill him it might as well be a friend. but idk about that. just that he did it cause he doesn't what Maddison too. if you think about it, Madison would be more enabled like it would be reinforcing like her ways and Nick saw that and see that she is wrong. because it didn't had to be this way.

also if you want to know how Maddison fuck up the farm settlement I can go in detail about it but.

just one last thing it was very difficult for me to sympathize with the characters in the sense that some of the stuff they say doesn't add up to what was shown to us. to me I don't think they been through a lot. the Clarke family fucked up every good thing they had.

even in the very first settlement releasing all those zombies from the stadium and killing a bunch of innocents in the process ruin that settlement they had. that horrible leader got killed by zombies.

if those zombies were not release from the stadium. that chopper could have landed. and they could have simply gone back and became leaders in that settlement. they were alreadly calling Clarke husband the neighborhood mayor.

the Clarkes were never really placed in danger they created there own danger due to flaws in their character always.

I kinda want people thoughts on alcia and jake hooking up. that kinda annoyed me because it wasn't clear to me how old alcia was but I like that jake was like were you just using me and taking advantage of me etc.

And Madison never was in a leadership position he was always like suggesting to a leader or "undermining" because she believe she had to as a mother. she did that to the hotel place settlement and fucked up that good thing as well. and troy saw that and notice it but let down his guard in trusting Madison.

FTWD was always shit to me but a love hate kinda shit, like a good shit that feels good. in a way. but FTWD was only good because we hope it to be but it never was or is. well hard to explain

the ending of season 3 should of been a mid season finale.

season 4 just felt like a step back but the step back happen already when troy died and those events occurred right after.

that's how the set back started with nick. the set back with alcia started when she had to go back to the dam.

so really season for was a new beginning but they took out the fillers in between season 3 and season 4. to season 4.

I only really talk about the bad things but um morgan did needed to come to fear the walking dead because a lot of the held beliefs they had in FTWD didn't make sense to me. it feels like FTWD wanted to steal from TWD.

I feel people give season 4 a lot of shit. because they left season 3 on a high and not on a low. but that epic event betrayed the character arcs and development that could of happen.

but I will probably do another post about things again. I wanted to ask why people feel compelled to talk about how shit something was and how. and not how great something is and how. but really how was what happen at the end of season 3 great? it was epic.

nick could have died in season 3 but they wanted nick and Maddison to be remembered. and season 4 is a new beginning and set up. if feels like in a way.

and always thought that Alicia had leadership potential like could be rick grimes character type she is intelligent well I could imagine it. it was never really clear what Alicia wanted at all. or needed. well maddision wanted to be a mother and other stuff. Nick wanted to be happy I geuss. and alcia was like trying to …..---- well to me Alcia was a bit quiet and observant a bit. and just lets say there was a reason why Alcia said something along the lines that no where is safe and like even in a settlement it will not be safe. to me when she went off on her own. I thought my prayers would be answer and she will become a leader .

and I didn't really see that in Maddison well I can see but I already said she was never in a leadership position before more so just suggesting and undermining and their was a reason for that.

if we look at like all that happen it would makes sense that moving forward no matter what would have been best to kill off Maddison and nick.

but in season 4 they did address the things I notice and saw. and hoped for. they gave me explanations and why.

Season 4 was a fresh and new start but they did a quick set up for it but they did it creatively if you watch all of season 4 because towards the end they reveal that maddision talk to the cam girl.

but there main focus with season 4 was how nick and maddision will be remember. but I wish to talk more in depth about a lot of things but this is getting sloppy
