So i was watching breaking bad for the third time and while on S04 Episode 13, from 17:10 - 18:00, when Walter goes to meet Tio Salamanca, you can hear a woman in the background calling out numbers for housie. At the end of the numbers she says G-48. The fact that the audio of her saying these numbers was so prominent compared to the actual dialogue got me thinking that these numbers have some meaning. The woman calling out this number is immediately followed by Walter telling Tio that he has an opportunity for Tio to take revenge on a particular shared enemy they have . This made me think that perhaps G-48 in some way represents Gus. I looked up a table that converts alphabets to numbers, where A represents 1, B represents 2, and so on. According to this table, if you subtract four from 26, you get 22, which is V, 1 alphabet ahead of U. If you subtract 8 from 26, you get R, which is 1 alphabet behind S. Therefore, G-48 nearly translates to Gus. Thus, this made me think that there must be some pattern or significance to the housie numbers being called out in this scene. Thought this would be worth sharing.
Also the remaining numbers are: B-3, O-74, B-7, I-21, some numbers with N, G-48. The reason i say 'some numbers with N' is because the audio is muffled for a short duration in between. However, the woman calling out the numbers says "Those N's just keep coming, there all sticking together". This implies that there were at least two numbers in between the numbers audible to us that have N in them. My guess is these numbers can all be converted into a string which will have some meaning or the numbers can be converted to letters which form some hidden message in the form of an anagram.
