To piggyback on the previous post and to bring light to a discussion that is not talked about as much as unnecessary deaths, what is one character's death that you feel like was necessary for the show, whether it was to further the plot, the growth of a character, or the show as a whole?
Personally, and it is a little more contentious because of this character's fate in the comics, I feel like Sophia's death was integral to the show and characters development. It let Carol shed the chains of her past and really let her flourish into a strong and independent character. Also, it harshly opened the eyes of the group to the horrors of the world as this is one of the first big losses for the group, and being a child to boot. What do you think?
