I just finished the last episode of 'The Shield' and I don't think I've ever been hit that hard emotionally by a TV show. Everything leading up from Shane suicide, to Vic being shown his photos, to Ronnie arrest, to the very last scene where the camera is panning into Vic Mackacy face as he realises he's lost everything and is stuck in 'purgatory'. I don't know whether to feel sorry or not for Vic.
Although I'm still feeling uneasy about it all, I have to say the ending is beautiful in probably the most tragic way possible.
