[Spoilers] a minor adjustment that could have made "Beyond the Wall" a bit more coherent and satisfying

That plotline was going to be a mess regardless. There were just too many moving parts and too little time.

I think it would have been cool, though, if the dragons just implicitly knew that Jon was in trouble and set out to save him, against Danys initial wishes. Like they're inconsolable, flying around screaming at each other and eventually just leave to rescue him. It would have further established Jons Targaryen identity, given further reason for Dany to trust him, and done away with the absurd Gendry run
