I honestly enjoyed every performance but what left me in shock was how good Stephen Dorff was. Going into the season I knew Mahershala Ali was gonna be great and I had no idea Dorff would have such a big role. All I remember Dorff from was The Gate and Blade so I wasn’t expecting much, but god damn his character work with each timeline was raw and captivating. His work with Scoot Mcnairy was some of the most heart wrenching work in the show. I don’t want to spoil anything so I have to be discreet but I feel like Ali obviously deserves a nomination but Dorff deserves one as well. He helped carry the show to almost season 1 quality. I gotta hand it to them because they really rebounded from the misfire in season 2, Dorff and Ali’s performances were both Emmy worthy.
