Rick Grimes’ (potential) death in the comics was extremely similar, and borderline identical to the death of Nick Clark in Fear Season 4
Rick earlier in the day of him being shot, took a person who was doing wrong and punished them, in this case with imprisonment.
Nick earlier in the day of him being shot, took a person who had done wrong and punished them, in this case by killing them.
Later in that day both were shot, and not by random goons of the evil doers, but by youthful characters that looked up to / cared for the people that were punished.
Both kids, shot Rick/Nick in the chest, can’t remember if Nicks went into his heart, it might have been his lungs or something, but Rick was shot in a similar area, and both began spitting up blood.
Nick Clark died, within probably a little more than a minute of this Injury, and Rick Grimes May have the same fate, we will have to find out but by the similarity of the two injuries and where each person was shot, it doesn’t look good.
