The most jarring thing for me was how Tyrion was dictating how all of Westeros politics will be decided from then on and everyone just nodding and going along with it.
Tyrion said something like “we will all decide a new ruler/king here and now, by vote, and all the kingdoms will meet here in this exact spot after our ruler dies and decide the new monarch. Anyways, I say Bran.”
And everyone decides to go with it. No arguing, or even input. Everyone just says “okay.” Who knew democracy was so easy to establish?
