Okay, hear me out: What if Kim becomes a politician? She's becoming a very, very successful lawyer. She's both doing big money-making work and doing honorable, noble cases. She's got the ground work laid out perfectly. But she doesn't really seem like she wants to be another Chuck or Howard, she doesn't seem interested in having her own gigantic firm. She wants something more satisfying. So what if she goes another route, and becomes a politician instead?
Plus, the writers have mentioned her as being the best candidate for another spin-off show. And to be fair, assuming she lives past this show, she probably is. But another lawyer show wouldn't be interesting-it'd retread the same ground too much. But if she's a corrupt as shit politician? That could be great. It'd almost round out a trilogy-Breaking Bad critiques the economic system, Better Call Saul critiques the judicial system, and Kim's spin off could critique the political system.
I donno. It just seems a lot more exciting than Kim dying or Kim getting disbarred.
