Look, I have no problem with doing product placement in shows. character is at a restaurant and drinking X brand soda, great. Who cares as long as it seemlessly fits into the scene
But in ST S3 they literally stop the action, one character holds a perfectly framed can of Coke in front of the camera and everyone talks about coca cola for a while. Meanwhile the the world is literally about to end, but nah lets sit here and discuss coke.
It was like that Mike Myers bit, only not a spoof.
Come on Duffer Bros, you're better than this.
