Jimmy McGill did not choose to go to Nebraska, Ed the vacuum guy chose for him. Jimmy in fact looked disappointed when he was told he was going to live in Nebraska. This is to help anyone who has theories thinking Jimmy chose Nebraska to look for Kim or hope to run into Kim or something like that
