I have only a layman’s knowledge of GOT. I want to watch the series in the near future but I’m also drawn to the books because they are what the story originally came from. I’m the type of person tho, that if I watch the series first, I will not read the books because I already know what will happen. So the question really is, are the books worth reading first or just skip them and go straight for the series?
