I couldn't think of a better title. I know, stupid. Thing is that I don't know how I felt sympathy for this man. First time I saw the show, I was all, "Poor Mr. White, losing his money because Jesse fucked up, having to pay all of these bills, how dare they offer charity money!"
Now I'm rewatching the show for the first time and I swear, I don't know if I've matured since then but it's a whole different fucking show. All of this could've been avoided if he had left his goddamn ego to one side and accepted Elliot's offer. And he constantly blames Jesse for things that are not his fault! Worst of all, all of this has happened because he looked for Jesse. Jesse tried getting out on various occasions, you know what's going on.
I'm just amazed at how Gilligan got me to sympathize with the guy. I assumed that maybe it's because I didn't know what White was capable of but nope. He's always an asshole.
