First time watching through the show. I found season 1 and 2 to be mostly meh, but really liking a few of the characters (Nick, Strand, Salazar, Travis, Luciana). Season 3 however was pretty dang good especially towards the end.
Up to season 4 now and it makes no internal sense why the show completely changes. You'd have to know the bts stuff to understand why random characters are now the main people.
Anyway what really is pissing me off is the treatment of the original characters, and it's finally allowed me to understand fully what people mean when they say Gimplespeak. Hearing Madison say "No one's gone until they're gone" made me internally cringe. Everyone is suddenly out of character or in a weird place we have no context for. Then there's the new characters and oh boy, Al most of all is utterly ridiculous in her "I want your story" bullshit.
The end of season 3 really set up Madison to continue down the path of a villain, possibly eventually coming to a conflict with Nick. The possibilities were awesome and they fucked it all up lol. I know I'm not saying anything new but I needed to vent my frustrations. 4 episodes into season 4 and I already don't want to consider it canon.
