Scooby-Doo fans, which of the series were the best, and which do you consider the worst in your opinion?

I've been a fan of this show since 1995 when I was a kid, used to watch it on Cartoon Network in the 2000s after seeing it on ITV in the 1990s.

For me, my personal favorites are the 1969-1970 Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?, the 1980-1982 The New Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Show where it was just Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy, and also Yabba-Doo and Deputy Dusty, and The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo.

The slapstick element of the 1980-1982 series was funny, in fact, that series introduced me to the Scooby franchise when I first saw it on British TV in the 1990s.

Deputy Dusty looked a bit like their take on the Milky Bar Kid from those old adverts, in a way, at least in my opinion. I found his voice a bit strange compared to Shaggy's, but then again, looking back, it went with his meek/milquetoast personality.

Yabba-Doo was a good character, although shame he never appeared in any of the reboot Scooby-Doo series, and he's sort of the yang to Scooby's yin in personality terms, in a way. I still like him, when I do Scooby fanart, sometimes I draw him now and then (fanart being a new-ish hobby of mine).

I was a bit on the fence about Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated : as someone who'd grown up with Scooby-Doo being "monster/villain of the week" it was a bit jarring to see an actual story arc or continuity at first, but I've only seen episodes here and there.

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! with its Family Guy-esque artwork was more "meh, OK" and I wasn't that much of a fan of it, although on one hand, the humor was there, but the visuals weren't quite as good as its predecessor. However, Kate Micucci as Velma was quite good, seen her on other things and she's a good actress, but fair enough about it being controversial.

This franchise is one I've grown up with since I was a kid - I actually only had one comic book of it years ago.

I've left out the direct-to-video movies from this discussion, thinking that they'd be better discussed at /r/movies but not sure if they count as episodes here.

I know there's a Scooby-Doo subreddit, but I'm aiming this discussion at a wider audience.

Interested to hear your opinions.
