One of the most fascinating things about this show is the relationship between Mike and Jesse. Two polar opposites whose dealings in the beginning were not good but over time developed a respect and care for one another. It’s fascinating seeing how different their first scene together after Jane’s death to their goodbye in Say my name. What was the turning point of their relationship. Obviously Salud was when Jesse gained Mike’s respect forever but I always felt that scene in the diner where Hesse is struggling not to think about drugs and Mike offers him his plate symbolizing a turn in their relationship
