So, my dad and I picked up watching GOT over the past summer and had to pause due to my leaving for college. We both text each other every week how excited we are to continue watching when I get back, especially considering we just started Season 6 and ended on Episode 2 with quite the cliffhanger!
I've heard such scathing reviews of the final two seasons that I'm considering not even watching them and telling my father that there's nothing to gain. With no spoilers please, can I get some of your valuable insight on whether the ending/season 7&8 is terrible enough to justify not getting closure?
