Time is often difficult to keep tabs on in the show and often dilates during certain periods and the audience is usually only made aware of how much time has passed after the fact, when the characters reflect on events. So, how long was Jon Snow with the Wildlings the first time—when he first meets Ygritte and Mance? I have a suspicion it was for far longer than the show made it seem.
