Shortly after the Doom, a dragonlord named Aurion flew toward Valyria to proclaim himself its first Emperor, with an army of 30,000 fast behind, but they all mysteriously vanished on the way. Around the same time, as did King Tommen II Lannister, along with his fleet; his goal being sheer plunder. Fast-forward around two centuries, and Gerion Lannister (the brother of Tywin, son of Tytos) sets sail to Valyria in order to retrieve the ancestral sword of his family, (Brightroar, the sword Tommen II disappeared with) also to be never seen again. And those individuals of note are just the ones I found, who perished in such a bizarre manner. Is there a book or aught else, which might help connect some dots and solve me this riddle?
