So the last season is arriving and honestly, I'm relieved that we get a conclusion to this story. I enjoyed Season 10, it was consistent and decent but after going around the circles forever, I want the ending. Anyway, something what I find annoying is how they have announced that Daryl and Carol will get their spin-off shows. Just WHY, WHY would you announce this shit before concluding the story. This really fucking pisses me off, I know that this is the way AMC has done for a while as they revealed Rick's and Michonne's last episodes but sigh. Now there isn't suspence about their fates. This also makes me really anxious how they will end the show. I always hoped that they'd have a huge last battle to get cure for the virus. Imagine how amazing it would be, our remaining group fighting to save humanity one last time. But no, I'm afraid that they'll end the show with some "big new villain" again and finally Rick will reunite with the group. I really hope there would be some other storyline what would feel as rewarding ending for the show, but I really can't think any. I'm hoping the best but fearing the worst. I know that the comics ended without finding a cure and Rick dieing, but creators have a possibility change it but they'll choose milking TWD till the last drop.
One concept tho, they find a cure but sharing the cure and stopping the pandemic won't be done overnight and it would still requier lot of work. That would honestly be a good ending.
Edit: actually now when I'm thinking about it, with most of the planet almost being dead at this point, would finding a cure matter that much anymore. And possible vaccine would just prevent people who die turning zombies, if it would make you immune to bites then that would be different thing. So the impact wouldn't be that big anymore like it would've been before huge time jump, but it would still give sign of hope and make the growth of humanity easier, what would be a nice pay-off.
