So far, this season has been a MAJOR improvement compared to the last two seasons and this season alone has already killed off twice as many characters than last season and here are my predictions for who could possibly be in danger.
Keep in mind, these are only predictions and I could be wrong about a majority of these if not all of them.
First off, I’ll go ahead and name off the characters who I think are safe: - Morgan - John - Alicia - Charlie - Grace and her baby - Dwight - Althea - Sarah - Annie - Wes - Baby Morgan - Skidmark - Rufus (The Bounty Hunter’s old dog that’s with Morgan now)
Now onto the predictions:
-
Luciana: I strongly believe that she was first put onto the show to become Nick’s love interest, but with Nick gone, I don’t see what else they could possibly do with her. I feel like Luciana’s time is slowly running out
-
Strand: Now that we see him starting to dive back into the Strand that we all first met back in season 1 and with him sending Alicia far away from him and also having a hand in getting Janis killed, which caused John to distrust him and beat his ass. I have a feeling it’s gonna get worse for him from here on out. I don’t know if he’ll die, but he might come close to it
-
Wendell: I liked the idea of Wendell’s character, a paraplegic man surviving in the apocalypse, but I don’t really see what more they could possibly do with him storyline-wise. I don’t think they’ll kill off Sarah cuz she’s pretty much become the comic relief on the show and I think the show has some plans for her, unlike her brother. So I think Wendell might be on chopping block
-
Annie’s brothers: If you don’t remember them, they were the kids that Morgan and friends met during season 5A. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the names of her brothers and quite frankly I don’t think I have to because I think their time is running out anyway. I honestly don’t see the value in their characters storyline-wise. I don’t really see what they could bring to the table, whereas with Annie, I think has potential to grow as a character and I could see them doing more with her. I don’t know if they’ll both be killed off, but I think we’ll more than likely lose at least one of them (My money’s on the younger one)
-
Rachel: In case you’ve forgotten who she is. She was the wife of Issac and mother to baby Morgan. I’ve got a feeling that she’s probably going to die as well. Either at the hands of the Pioneers or the “End is the Beginning” group
-
Dakota: This one I think will be one of the more shocking deaths of the season. She’s clearly one of the very few things that Ginny cares about and Dakota dying will be I think, the final catalyst to sending Virginia further over the edge
-
June: We all got a little taste of a more angsty and gritty John Dorie in last night’s episode and I’ve got a feeling that we’re gonna get a hell of a lot more of it. Killing off June, I think will be the final straw in John fully losing his shit. Not to mention, the main show has a serious issue with killing off its doctors and just because this show is a spin-off and June is a main character, doesn’t mean that they’ll make an exception. Just ask Siddiq, Enid, or Liza
-
Sherry: Yes, yes I know that her and Dwight finally reunited after all this time and it would be heartless to kill her off now, but remember, this is still The Walking Dead. No character is allowed to be happy for too long and for some reason. I’ve got a gut feeling that Sherry’s death is gonna involve Dwight somehow.
-
Rabbi Jacob Kessner: According to last night’s episode, he seems have taken up the role as a sort of moral compass and we all know how the show loves to treat those kinds of characters. I think the rabbi’s time will be running out soon as well
-
Virginia: Now we come to the death of the villain, even though I don’t necessarily believe she’s the big bad of the season. I think Ginny will meet her end either at the hands of Morgan or whoever these ”The End is the Beginning” people are. Also, the actress who plays Virginia, Colby Minifie, also stars on the hit Amazon Series, The Boys, so depending on both of those show’s filming dates. I think Virginia’s as good as dead by the end of this season.
