I was rewatching the show and Cersei made a remark about Margaery not being cold even though her dress had "so little fabric", to which Margaery said she is a bit chilly and it made me realize how everyone is always wearing long sleeves and jackets and everything. The city looks very much mediterranian and even in the castle some rooms are just directly open to the outside which would make you think it's warm there. And some people still have light airy clothing like Shae and seem to be doing fine. It seems much more climate appropriate. Was it just a stylistic choice that means nothing or is Kings Landing not as warm as I assumed?
