Panel shows in the UK work incredibly well because the comedy circuit is quite close-knit. Many comedians share just a couple of comedy managers. Most of them have been on the circuit together.
I am watching 'The Fix' on Neflix.
All it is a bunch of Americans trying to one-up each other. No discussion. Nothing. Just trying to out-comedy one another.
Katherine Ryan who, of course, got started on the British comedy circuit despite being Canadian, is playing it like a British panel show.
Telling a story. WAIT who is this? Nikki Glaser or somebody chatting over the top of her. Katherine never finishes her story.
Nikki Glaser doesn't get to finish her story either. Michael Ian Black talks over the top of her.
Are we gonna get Michael Ian Black finishing his story, though? Oh no. D.L. Hughley has to jump in and say something like "crazy white women"
