First of all this was made by the ringer which is Bill Simmons baby even though he has sold it to spotify. So as with all of the 30 for 30 and other documentary's he/they are involved in the production value is top notch and the story telling is amazing.
I was impressed that they were able to get the actual promoters to participate in this and while it was nice they had one of the MTV VJ's I was really hoping to hear from Kurt Loder or Chris Connely.
I realize that it was the people they were interviewing saying this but I felt that they overly romanticized the early grunge era by calling it in essence nothing but a progressive nirvana (pardon the pun) by pointing some of the progressive political views that a few of the bands had. While ignoring the suicide, depression, drug abuse that also came along with it. Not saying it didn't have it's upside, just saying there was another side to it as well.
Overall though I thought it was very informative and entertaining.
