(Spoilers for 11x01 - 11x05) Why does so much stuff happen off-screen this season?

- Not showing how Eugene, Yumiko, Ezekiel and princess get in and out of their cage in 11x01 and 11x02

- Frost getting captured by the reapers

- Whisperer in 11x05 gets his hand cut off

- Elijah and Gabe reuniting off screen in 11x05 after Elijah was seen getting captured by the reapers

There's other things that I don't remember off the top of my head, but it just feels like a lot of plotholes and moments being cut off, what do you guys think?
