As a big fantasy fan who read and loved LOTR and wants a series sorta like that, I still haven't read this series yet and I've been pondering if I should. But I've always been hesitate when it comes to reading GOT since Martin is most likely never going to finish/wrap things up with his own books.
Should I get the books for Christmas? Is it hard or easy to follow along with the plot? Is it worth getting into an unfinished book series?
